| Description: | Elyria Country Club is a private 18 hole facility designed by William Flynn in 1925. Elyria Country Club maintains 175 acres, including 25 acres of Fairway, 3 acres of Tees, and 3 arces of Greens. The Greens, Tees, and Fairways are a Bent/Poa mix with approximately 14,000 rounds per year. The Assistant will be working with the Superintendent in planning and supervising the maintenance of the golf course and clubhouse grounds. This will include, but not limited to, irrigation operation and maintenance, crew supervision, drainage maintenance, pesticide application, and record keeping |
| Qualifications: | Educational Requirements: Two year certificate or Four year degree in Turf Management or related field Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in turf management. Previous assistant experience, or other leadership role preferred Special Requirements: Possess or obtain Ohio Pesticide Applicator License. Ability to manage and perform all course maintenance related activities with a high attention to detail |
