Description: The Equipment / Shop Manager makes major and minor repairs on a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment as well as golf carts. Also responsible for maintenance of company vehicles. The Equipment/ Shop Manager ensures that all equipment is operationally sound, properly serviced as necessary, and up to date with every safety device functioning. Is responsible for managing the daily work activities, issuing oral and written instructions. The Equipment/ Shop Manager will assist with the overall Golf Maintenance operation when not specifically working on equipment, in our fun family/respectful Golf environment.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience as a small engine mechanic with some supervisory experience or management role. Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical diagnosis. Knowledge of automobile repair. Welding skills a plus. Knowledge of working components of varied turf equipment and golf carts. Some knowledge but if not will instruct on the art of reel grinding and set up to ensure the highest quality of cut. Management and organizational skills including record keeping. Ability to communicate effectively on all levels. Team player and respectful to others.
