Your Superintendent Urged to Take Part in Nutrient Use Study
GCSAA will be collecting important data from superintendents nationwide regarding nutrient use and management and we need everyone’s participation to help measure industry efforts to better demonstrate environmental stewardship and ensure the future of the game. This is another big step in the second phase of the Golf Course Environmental Profile (GCEP), which started March 17. The first profile, conducted from 2006-2012, established baseline information that has enabled GCSAA to make significant strides on behalf of the profession and industry. Now, updated information is needed.

GCSAA is asking association members and nonmembers alike to take 15 minutes to participate in this study, which will assist the industry in communicating responsible environmental stewardship among superintendents.

Other surveys will be conducted and reported over the next three years, mirroring the previo us series. This new data will support the industry in research, advocacy, development of resources and much more, allowing an even stronger advocacy voice for golf.

This series in the GCEP is funded by the Environmental Institute for Golf through generous sponsorship by the USGA. Please do your part and ask all superintendents to participate in this valuable industry study.

Sincerely,
The NGCOA Team
